Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the 5 pillars that make up Tradition Chinese Medicine, or in our case, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM).

Acupuncture follows the basic principle that the energy in the body ‘Qi’ should be in balance and move freely through the meridians.

The acupuncture points are found on the different meridians and therefore by treating specific points we can influence the whole body.

“ Acupuncture has had a great impact on my life both in the treatment of my animals and also in treatment of my own migraines and cervical pain. It is in my opinion a wonderful form of therapy. ”

About me and QiBalance

As a veterinarian I wanted to find a more wholistic approach to treating my patients and one that could help me continue to work together and in adjunct with my veterinary community.

Becoming a certified acupuncturist felt like a very natural progression for me as a veterinarian.
